As well as a la carte dining and private dining, Cucina also serves up a fantastic lunch & pre-theatre menu. Their sommelier will hand pick a glass of wine to perfectly complement each dish of your meal.

Cucina is the place for food that is as modern and clean-cut as the space itself, located in the oh-so-swanky G&V Royal Mile. Perfectly positioned at the corner of the George IV Bridge and the Royal Mile, Cucina is conveniently located and only a short distance from Edinburgh Castle and Princes Street.

Camorani, who previously worked with Michelin-starred Italian chef Giorgio Locatelli, skilfully blends Italian flavours and the freshest, seasonal ingredients to create a dynamic menu that delivers both style & substance. He embraced the challenges of the competitive & demanding Edinburgh market, experimenting with presentation, design and ingredients to push the boundaries and deliver a ‘wow factor’ without taking away from classic Italian feeling of the food.

Cucina’s interiors are equally impressive and memorable. The restaurant was restyled by Timorous Beasties & Graven Images and the new look was unveiled in July 2016 with interiors reflecting the dynamic and energetic feel evident throughout the G&V Hotel.

The Terrace
Another lovely element to the restaurant is the The Terrace, outside area, nestled in a backyard of surrounding buildings with gorgeous grey exposed brick façades that create a cosy ambience – perfect for al fresco dining on warmer days.
