Cray House and Estate is a luxury self catering country house available for exclusive use. This Georgian Lodge style country house and estate is nestled amongst the foot-hills of Glenshee in Perthshire, the gateway to the Cairngorms National Park. Cray house is the ideal location for private events, sporting breaks, special occasions and is family and dog friendly.

Located 1.5 hours north of Edinburgh, the extensive grounds are yours to explore alongside a boating loch, an adventure playground and house rods for fishing on the River Shee. The estate has stunning grounds and marquees can be set up for larger weddings/parties.

The house comprises both a formal dining room, dining kitchen area and a bright and sunny breakfasting room. In addition, there is a formal drawing room plus two further sitting rooms. Plenty of space for families and groups to be together or apart. This also lends well for break out space for corporate gatherings.

Accommodation

Cray House can accommodate up to twenty guests comfortably, along with Blairbeg cottage* near the house, sleeps 2- 4 guests. The beds in the house can be made up as Super King or twins, with the exception of one room which has bunk beds. The linen is all Egyptian Cotton and the towels White Company.

Butler Service

The Estate Managers, Ben & Vicky Sutcliffe are on site and provide a personal service. They have good local knowledge and relationships that can facilitate any activities that you may like organised: shooting, fishing, golf, skiing rental/tuition, paddle boarding, fly fishing tuition or just the best places to walk and explore. Nothing is too much trouble and they will do as much and or as little as your require.

Chef

Ben is also a professional chef, having cooked at a high level for high profile clients. He will cater as much or as little as you would like and can organise shopping or fresh food deliveries as needed.

Weddings

This hidden gem, Cray House, hosts many dinners and weddings. Ben and Vicky will help you organise as much – or as little if you’re taking the DIY route – as you’d like, making the planning process a smooth and relaxed one.

Alongside Cray, there is also a one bedroomed cottage, Blairbeg, for rent and a 3 bedroomed house*
