Stucktaymore exclusive use house is set in a stunning location near Loch Tay, with beautiful grounds extending to upto four acres and lawns surrounding the house, rolling towards the fields leading to Loch Tay. Large terrace with outside dining and a 7 seater hot tub all overlooking Loch Tay. There are woodlands to the west of the house and a tumbling burn cascades through the trees, crisscrossed by bridges linking the paths that meander through the magnificent variety of mature trees.

Fire Pits
Hidden in the woods there are three outstanding fire pits ranging from magnificent to intimate, the larger fire pit is perfect for a BBQ, great for that outdoor experience keeping that luxury feel.

Accommodation
13 en-suite bedrooms, accommodating up to 29 guests. The bedrooms have kingsize beds, one twin and three rooms offering triple occupancy.

A large kitchen and breakfast room with Aga and the dining room seating up to 26, leading onto a sitting room that enjoys breathtaking views over Loch Tay. There is a large stone built ‘snug’ with a significant open fire and library that also boasts an open fire, TV and baby grand piano. Easily accessible utility room based on the lower ground floor, along with a media and entertainment room showcasing an 80’ inch screen TV, (full sky package), DVD player, Xbox One. There is also a games room with pool table.

Location
Loch Tay is a magnificent dark stretch of water, 15 miles (24 km) long and around 508 ft deep. It’s the largest loch in Perthshire and one of the deepest in Scotland. To the north, the loch is flanked by the impressive bulk of the Ben Lawers mountain range, much of which is designated as a National Nature Reserve. The main A827 road runs high above the loch, west from Kenmore. The contours are gentler on the southern shore and Sustrans Cycle Route Number 7 runs along a quiet unclassified road.

Activities
Loch Tay is popular with sailing and water-sports enthusiasts and the small shingle beach near Kenmore is perfect for sunbathing.

History
It’s hard to believe that ancient settlers once lived on Loch Tay, inhabiting artificially created islands known as crannogs. There are eighteen crannogs on Loch Tay, most are now submerged but a large crannog near the northern shore at Kenmore can be clearly seen. This was the ancient burial place of Queen Sybilla, wife of Alexander King of Scots.
